The oldest surviving public pool in Singapore, Queenstown Swimming Complex was the first public pool built in a housing estate in Singapore and has been serving the community since 1970. The Swimming Complex is perhaps known most for it being the old training ground for the national water polo players, who have won gold in the SEA Games 27 times since 1965.
With its rich heritage, it is no surprise that Queenstown Sport Centre, formerly known as Queenstown Sport and Recreation Centre, is still frequented by residents. In addition, Queenstown Swimming Complex has one of the two diving pools managed by SportSG.
The Swimming Complex is 7-minute walk away from Queenstown MRT and is just 3 bus stops from IKEA Alexandra and Queensway Shopping Centre.
